This 7-day Ladakh itinerary offers a well-paced and immersive journey through the region’s most iconic landscapes, cultural hubs, and border villages, carefully designed for acclimatization, comfort, and maximum experiential value. The journey begins in Leh, with a scenic drive along the Indus River to Kargil, covering key landmarks such as Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, and the Indus–Zanskar confluence. A full day is dedicated to the culturally unique Aryan (Brokpa) Valley, offering rare insights into indigenous traditions, village life, and apricot orchards in bloom. The route then returns to Leh with optional stops at Lamayuru’s dramatic Moonland terrain.
From Leh, the itinerary ascends via Khardung La into Nubra Valley, combining monasteries, cold desert landscapes, and an excursion to Turtuk, India’s last village near the Pakistan border, known for Balti culture and apricot farming. The journey culminates with a drive to the iconic Pangong Lake via the Shyok route (subject to conditions), before returning to Leh for departure. Inclusive of permits, experienced local drivers, and essential safety provisions, this itinerary balances adventure, culture, and scenic exploration with operational realism and flexibility.

Itinerary
Guests must arrive at Leh Airport by 08:00 AM.
Group pickup will be at 08:30 AM, followed by a direct drive to Kargil via the scenic Indus River route.
En-route visits:
- Magnetic Hill
- Pathar Sahib Gurudwara
- Indus–Zanskar Confluence at Nimmu
Arrival in Kargil, check-in and rest.
Overnight stay in Kargil.
Visit the Kargil War Memorial.
Proceed to the culturally rich Aryan (Brokpa) Valley, famous for apricot blossoms.
Explore:
- Hardass Village – apricot orchards
- Garkone Village – Brokpa culture & village walk
Return to Kargil by evening.
Overnight stay in Kargil.
Drive back to Leh at a comfortable pace.
Optional en-route stops:
- Lamayuru Monastery & Moonland
- Scenic viewpoints along the Indus River
Arrival in Leh. Evening free at Leh Market.
Overnight stay in Leh.
Morning visit Shanti Stupa, Drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (subject to weather conditions).
Visit:
- Diskit Monastery & Maitreya Buddha
- Hunder Village – cold desert landscape
Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Excursion to Turtuk Village, the last Indian village near the Pakistan border.
Experience:

Return to Nubra Valley by evening.
Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Travel from Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via the Shyok route, only if the route is open and road conditions permit.
Enjoy time at the iconic Pangong Lake before continuing to Leh by evening.
Overnight stay in Leh.
Important Note:
Access to Pangong Lake from Nubra Valley is subject to road and weather conditions. In case the route is closed, the group will return directly to Leh and alternative local sightseeing may be arranged.
Early transfer to Leh Airport for return flight.
