Welcome to the Island of Serendipity!
Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your chauffeur guide with a traditional flower garland.
Proceed to Negombo, located approximately 20 minutes from the airport. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Relax after your journey, unwind at the hotel or explore the peaceful surroundings at your own pace.

In the Footsteps of Lord Rama
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin your journey towards Chilaw, a region deeply connected with the Ramayana traditions of Sri Lanka.
Munneswaram Temple
Visit the ancient and revered Munneswaram Shiva Temple. According to Ramayana tradition, Lord Rama worshipped Lord Shiva here after defeating Ravana, seeking forgiveness for the consequences of the great battle.
Manavari Temple
Continue to Manavari Temple, traditionally believed to be the first place where Lord Rama installed a Shiva Lingam following his victory over Ravana. This sacred temple holds special significance for devotees following the Ramayana Trail.
Sigiriya Rock Fortress
Proceed towards Sigiriya, the legendary fortress traditionally associated with Ravana's kingdom of Lankapura.
Explore this magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Site, rising dramatically above the surrounding landscape. The ancient fortress features impressive gardens, frescoes and architectural remains.
The climb involves approximately 1,250 steps and requires moderate physical fitness. Allow approximately 2.5–3 hours for exploration. It is not recommended for travellers with knee problems or limited physical fitness.

Discovering the Sacred Koneswaram Shiva Temple
After breakfast, proceed towards the coastal city of Trincomalee, approximately 2.5 hours away.
Koneswaram Shiva Temple

On your return journey, visit the historic Kanniya Hot Springs, consisting of seven natural thermal wells. According to local legend, King Ravana created these springs during the Ramayana period.
