GULLFOSS WATERFALL

Continue to spectacular Gullfoss, where enormous volumes of glacial water plunge through a dramatic canyon.

After a beautiful day of exploration, continue towards the South Iceland countryside.

After exploring the glacier region, continue towards Höfn and the spectacular eastern landscapes.

VESTRAHORN

Weather permitting, stop at the dramatic Vestrahorn mountain, one of Iceland's most iconic photographic locations.

Continue into the quieter eastern part of Iceland.

Leave East Iceland and continue north towards one of Iceland's most fascinating volcanic regions.

There is no need to rush today.

Stop at scenic viewpoints, enjoy a relaxed lunch and experience a side of Iceland that many visitors miss.

As you move north, the landscape gradually changes from coastal mountains to volcanic terrain.

Arrive in the Lake Mývatn region by afternoon/evening.

HVERIR GEOTHERMAL AREA

GRJÓTAGJÁ

Visit this fascinating lava cave and its surrounding volcanic landscape.

Today combines some of the most memorable experiences of North Iceland.

Begin the morning exploring the surroundings of Lake Mývatn.

The region is known for lava formations, volcanic craters, geothermal activity and wide-open landscapes.

EARTH LAGOON MÝVATN

Step into warm, mineral-rich geothermal waters surrounded by Iceland's volcanic landscape.

The geothermal experience is the perfect way to relax after several days on the road.

Enjoy the warm waters and steam bath while taking in the peaceful surroundings.

After your geothermal experience, continue towards Húsavík.

HÚSAVÍK — WHALE WATCHING

Drive to Húsavík, one of Iceland's best-known whale-watching towns.

Board a whale-watching cruise and head into Skjálfandi Bay in search of Iceland's marine wildlife.

Arrive in Reykjavík by afternoon or early evening.

YOUR FINAL EVENING IN ICELAND

Check into your Reykjavík hotel and enjoy your final evening at your own pace.

Take a relaxed walk through the city centre, explore the colourful streets, visit the harbour or enjoy a farewell Icelandic dinner.

Having the final night in Reykjavík means you don't have to combine a long road journey with your international departure.

Depending on your international flight timing, you can either head directly towards Keflavík International Airport or make your final day even more special with an optional Blue Lagoon experience.

If you have a later flight, take the opportunity to visit Iceland's world-famous Blue Lagoon, located conveniently between Reykjavík and Keflavík Airport.
