Itinerary
- Arrival at Bagdogra Airport.
- Group pickup at 2:00 PM.
- Drive to Phuentsholing via Jaigaon.
- Complete Bhutan immigration formalities (subject to office timings).
- Check in to the hotel.
Overnight: Phuentsholing
- After breakfast, drive to Bhutan's capital city, Thimphu, enjoying beautiful mountain landscapes and river valleys en route.
- Upon arrival, subject to timing, visit the Thimphu Tshechu Festival. If arrival is later than expected, the festival visit will be scheduled for the following day.
Overnight: Thimphu
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day city tour covering:
- Buddha Dordenma
- Memorial Chorten
- Motithang Takin Preserve
- Tashichho Dzong
- Local Handicraft Market
Thimphu Tshechu Festival (if not visited on Day 2) will be included today.
Overnight: Thimphu
Drive towards Punakha via the spectacular Dochula Pass (3,100 metres).
Visit:
- Druk Wangyal Chortens (108 Stupas)
- Punakha Dzong
- Punakha Suspension Bridge
- Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple)
Overnight: Punakha/Wangdue
After breakfast, drive to Paro.
Visit:
- Rinpung Dzong
- National Museum (subject to operational status)
- Kyichu Lhakhang
- Paro Town & Local Market
Overnight: Paro
After breakfast, proceed to visit Bhutan's most iconic landmark, the Tiger's Nest Monastery (Taktsang), perched dramatically on a cliff at an altitude of 3,120 metres.
Guests who wish to undertake the hike should be in good physical health, as the trail involves a moderate to strenuous uphill trek of approximately 5–6 hours (round trip).
The hike is completely optional. Guests who prefer not to hike may:
- Relax at the resort
- Explore Paro's local markets
- Enjoy the town's cafés and leisure time at their own pace
Overnight: Paro
- Today marks the conclusion of your Bhutan journey.
- An early morning departure from Paro is required, as the drive to Bagdogra Airport is approximately 7-8 hours, including the time required for Bhutan immigration exit formalities at the Phuentsholing–Jaigaon border.
- A packed breakfast will be arranged by the hotel for your convenience.
- After completing immigration procedures, continue your onward drive to Bagdogra Airport.
- Important: Kindly book your return flight departing after 4:00 PM to allow sufficient time for the journey and border formalities.

- Arrival Pickup: 2:00 PM on 20 September from Bagdogra Airport.
- Departure: Please schedule your return flight from Bagdogra after 4:00 PM on 26 September.
- The Thimphu Tshechu Festival will be visited on 21 or 22 September, depending on the group’s arrival time in Thimphu and the official festival schedule.
- Indian nationals must carry a valid Passport (minimum 6 months validity) or Original Voter ID for entry into Bhutan.
- Travel Insurance is mandatory and strongly recommended for the duration of the tour.
- The itinerary is subject to change due to weather conditions, road conditions, government regulations or operational requirements without compromising the overall tour experience.
Cultural Etiquette & Responsible Travel
- Dress modestly while visiting monasteries, temples, dzongs, and other religious sites. Clothing that covers the shoulders and knees is recommended.
- Maintain silence and behave respectfully inside places of worship and during religious ceremonies.
- Follow the instructions of local guides and monastery authorities at all times.
- Remove hats and footwear where required before entering religious premises.
- Seek permission before photographing monks, local residents, or religious ceremonies, as photography may be restricted at certain locations.
