Welcome to Istanbul! Upon landing, our team will be ready to escort you to your hotel. Be sure to check the information boards in the reception area for details about the welcome meeting, where you’ll meet your guide and fellow travelers.
Start your adventure with a panoramic tour of this captivating city spread across two continents. Visit the grand Suleiman the Magnificent Mosque, explore the ancient city walls, and admire the Golden Horn and its fishing district. Conclude your day with a transfer to Taksim, the vibrant heart of the city, where you can enjoy dinner at local restaurants or take a ride on the historic tram to Galata Tower.
Begin your day with an early visit to the Topkapi Palace, the former administrative hub of the Ottoman Empire, known for its stunning courtyards and pavilions. Afterward, enjoy a two-hour boat cruise along the Bosphorus Strait, which connects the Black Sea to the Sea of Marmara, dividing Istanbul into its European and Asian sides. Witness the lively strait with its boats and landmarks, including the bridges linking the two continents. We’ll disembark on the Asian side for a stroll through Uskudar, known for its mosques and tranquil streets, followed by lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll journey to Ankara, where dinner awaits.
Highlights: Ankara exploration and Cappadocia's stunning landscapes. After breakfast, discover Ankara, Turkey’s cosmopolitan capital with over 5 million residents. Visit the Mausoleum of Ataturk and the ancient Ankara Castle, dating back to 800 BC. We’ll also stop by the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations to learn about the various cultures that have influenced Turkey. After lunch at a shopping mall, we’ll head towards Cappadocia, stopping at the picturesque Salt Lake and the sacred site of Hacibecktas. Overnight in Nevsehir, with dinner included.
Highlights: Unique landscapes and charming villages. Spend the day exploring Cappadocia’s otherworldly scenery, including the Göreme Open-Air Museum, where rock-carved churches await. Visit Uçhisar’s natural fortress and the underground city of Kaymakli, capable of housing thousands. Take a leisurely walk through Pasabag, known as the Valley of the Fairies, and enjoy dinner at your hotel.
Begin your day in the Ihlara Valley, renowned for its fresh waters and rock-hewn churches. On our way to Konya, we’ll visit a historic 13th-century caravanserai. In Konya, discover the Mausoleum of Mevlana (Rumi) and learn about the Whirling Dervishes (entrance included). After dinner, you may choose to attend a mesmerizing Whirling Dervish performance.
Travel through scenic landscapes to the charming town of Eğirdir, where you can enjoy lunch. Then, continue to Pamukkale, famous for its stunning white travertine terraces and the ancient ruins of Hierapolis (entrance included). Dinner is provided.
Depart for Ephesus, the best-preserved ancient city in Asia Minor, once home to over 250,000 people. Visit the House of the Virgin Mary, the Basilica of St. John, and explore the remarkable ruins of Ephesus (entrance included). We’ll then head to the lively coastal town of Kusadasi, known for its vibrant atmosphere and charming castle. Dinner included.
Travel to Izmir, Turkey’s fourth-largest city, known for its modernity and cultural vibrancy. Enjoy a brief tour before heading to Bursa, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site for its historical center filled with traditional markets, mosques, and public baths. Key attractions include the Green Mosque. Arrive back in Istanbul by evening.
After breakfast, your journey concludes. We’ll transfer you to the airport for your departure flight.
