Details of

Itinerary

Welcome to Scandinavia, Europe! We’ll transfer you to the hotel, and you’ll have some free time. In the afternoon, you’ll find information about the start of your tour on the boards located at the hotel reception.

After some time exploring the heart of Trondheim, we’ll continue our journey. Today, we’ll take in stunning views of the coastline and fjords along the Norwegian Sea. We’ll cross one of these fjords by ferry before arriving in Kristiansund, a city celebrated for its beautiful natural surroundings. Traditionally a fishing hub, Kristiansund is spread across several islands connected by bridges and embankments, giving the city its unique character. The charming city center features cobblestone streets, shops, restaurants and cafes. We’ll have time to stroll around and enjoy lunch here. Later, we’ll travel through scenic landscapes to visit the Kvernes Stave Church (admission included), a 14th-century treasure that houses an incredible 300-year-old ship model and altarpieces dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Our route will then take us along the famous Atlantic Road, often considered the most beautiful stretch of road by the ocean in Norway. This spectacular drive crosses eight bridges that connect various islands. At times, the ocean’s swell crashes against the coast, heightening the dramatic beauty of the scenery. We’ll stop at one of the viewpoints to soak in the views before continuing to Molde, where we’ll arrive by evening. This vibrant town, nestled along its fjord, is a regular docking point for cruise ships.

We’ll experience a day of breathtaking beauty, with World Heritage Site fjords, glaciers, and picturesque towns along our route. Our adventure will begin with a ferry crossing of the Romsdal Fjord, a 50-minute journey through stunning landscapes. From there, we’ll ascend into the snowy mountains, and then descend towards the stunning Storfjorden, where even more breathtaking views await. Another ferry ride (30 minutes) will take us past snow-capped peaks to the Eagle Viewpoint, overlooking the Geiranger Fjord, one of the most spectacular viewpoints in Norway. Next, we’ll arrive in Geiranger, home to a fjord that has been designated a World Heritage Site. This area is considered one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. You’ll have free time to explore—perhaps take a boat ride along the fjord, stroll beside the waterfalls that flow into the town, or relax in the village. After lunch, we’ll continue through impressive mountain landscapes and fjords. Our next stop will be Briksdalsbre, an awe-inspiring glacier set in a stunning natural location. There will be time to hike from the base to the glacier, either on foot or by electric vehicle (optional). Dinner will be included, and we’ll spend the night in Loen, a charming town by the fjord. Here, you can ride one of the steepest cable cars in the world, which takes you from the fjord to over 1,000 meters above sea level.

We’ll set off early, with just under 300 km of breathtaking scenery between us and Bergen. Our journey will follow the fjord shores, cross mountains, and include a scenic ferry ride. We’ll arrive in Bergen around lunchtime, where we’ve arranged a cable car ride up Fløyen Mountain for stunning views over the city. Afterward, you’ll have free time to explore Norway’s second-largest city, known for its rich history, vibrant cultural life, and spectacular natural surroundings. Take a stroll through Bryggen, the historic dock district with its brightly colored wooden buildings, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. If you’d like, you can also visit the Aquarium or the bustling fish market with its array of small restaurants.

We’ll leave Bergen early and travel into the heart of Norway. Our journey will take us across the impressive suspension bridge over the Hardanger Fjord, one of the most beautiful in the country. We’ll stop in Eidfjord, a charming town on the fjord’s edge. Next, we’ll visit Vøringfossen, considered Norway’s most spectacular waterfall, with an awe-inspiring 182-meter drop. We’ll explore the viewpoints and bridges that offer stunning scenery of the falls. Afterward, we’ll continue through breathtaking landscapes of desolate, cold high plateaus, dotted with small lakes—frozen most of the year—and snowfields, leading us to Geilo, a popular ski resort town where we’ll stop for lunch. Following lunch, we’ll continue our journey toward Oslo, arriving in the evening. Once in Oslo, we recommend exploring its lively city center, strolling through the historic harbor, and heading up to the rooftop terrace of the modern Opera House.

We include a panoramic tour of the Norwegian capital with a local guide. This city blends vibrant modern architecture with classical buildings, stunning scenery, and large parks with sculptures. Oslo has been named the European Green Capital. After the tour, you´ll have free time to explore on your own.

Next, we’ll depart for Sweden, passing through landscapes of forests and lakes. Our next stop is Örebro, a historic town by a beautiful lake, with a castle and a charming old town. Enjoy some time for a stroll before we continue to Stockholm, arriving in the evening.

Today we’ll embark on a panoramic tour of this beautiful capital city, built on 14 interconnected islands. We’ll visit Gamla Stan, also known as the “the city between bridges”, the lively old quarter filled with monumental buildings such as the Nobel Prize Museum, located right beside the main square of Stortorget which honors Nobel Prize winners, the Cathedral, and the Royal Palace. Whenever possible, we’ll enjoy the stunning views from the Fjällgatan viewpoint. Afterwards, you’ll have leisure time to explore. We recommend visiting the museums and parks. Optionally, you can visit the City Hall and the Vasa Museum.

After breakfast, our journey will come to an end, leaving you with wonderful lasting memories.
