Itinerary

There will be transfers to Jaigaon. At Bagdogra Airport, a representative from our Travel team will meet and greet the passengers. When flying by air immediately, passengers are need to possess either a passport or a voter identification card. When entering Bhutan via Phuentsholing Gate, entrance and route permits will be processed the next morning at the Phuentsholing Immigration Office. Dinner & Overnight stop at Jaigaon. Take into consideration that the journey from Bagdogra to Phuentsholing Gate or Jaigaon typically lasts around four hours. Because Jaigaon (India) is a border town between India and Bhutan, the hotels that are located there are often of a more basic kind. This day will not include any sightseeing.

Take your time and take in the sights as you travel across the breathtaking landscapes of the Land of the Thunder Dragon. The journey today would take between 5 and 6 hours. The travel to Thimphu is made more delightful by stopping at several locations along the way, such as Gedu. Arrive in Thimphu by the evening and check into your hotel after you've gotten there. Evening is a time for relaxation and leisure. Clock Tower and Thimphu Town Walks - Take advantage of your free time to enjoy a leisurely walk in the city centre of Thimphu. Experience the commotion of the throng and peruse the local shops and boutiques selling handicrafts. Do not pass up the opportunity to sample the delectable foods served in the area. A meal and an overnight stay in Thimphu are included.

After breakfast, it's time to say goodbye to Thimphu and get ready for the day's adventures.

People of all ages flock to the National Memorial Chorten (Photoshop) in order to circumambulate the structure and perform holy prayers. This is a famous monument that is situated in the middle of Thimphu city.

One of the biggest Buddha statues in the world may be seen at Buddha Point. This statue is located on a hillside that provides a view over the whole Thimphu valley below.

Zilukha Nunnery The Zilukha nunnery is an important part in meeting the spiritual needs of the people living in Thimphu, and plays an important role in doing so. You may see two golden deer facing a Dharma wheel. This practise, which is prevalent in Buddhist monasteries and temples, makes reference to the first sermon that Buddha ever delivered, which took place at Sarnath Deer Park, which is located close to Varanasi in India. The first rotation of the Dharma Wheel signifies the beginning of the process of putting things in motion.

Simply Bhutan Museum - Take Part in a Cultural Programme, Explore a Life Museum, and Taste Some of the Region's Tea.

Travel to Punakha - Punakha, the second capital of Bhutan, is accessible by a trip that will provide you with stunning views of green mountains, water streams, rice fields, and traditional Bhutanese dwellings, among other things.

You will go to Punakha in the morning, passing via Dochula Pass and on your way to Druk Wangyal Lhakhang: Take pleasure in inhaling the clean, unpolluted air and gazing in awe at the breathtaking vistas of snow-covered Eastern Himalayan mountain ranges (provided that the weather is clear). We will stroll over the Punakha Suspension Bridge, which is the longest iron suspension bridge in the world and spans the Po Chu river. The bridge is adorned with bright Buddhist prayer flags. It is one of the suspension bridges that holds the record for the greatest length in Bhutan.

Chimi Lhakhang is a fertility temple where visitors may get blessings. It is a widely held belief in Bhutan that infertile women who worship at this temple will be granted the gift of motherhood for themselves or their partners.(Hiking Involved) . Dinner & Overnight at Punakha.

When you visit Paro Dzong, you will take a leisurely stroll downhill to cross a characteristic Bhutanese cantilever bridge. This bridge is considered to be one of the greatest examples of its kind in Bhutan due to its shingle roof and the presence of two guardhouses at either end.

A visit to the National Museum or Ta-Dzong will provide visitors with the opportunity to see a collection of fine arts, paintings and bronzes, textiles, jewellery, handicrafts, and galleries of stuffed animals and butterflies from Bhutan. Dinner & Overnight at Paro.

Trekking to Paro Taktsang, also known as Tiger's Nest, is an experience you will never forget. It is situated on a high cliff that looks out over the Paro Valley and is surrounded by mighty mountains and emerald green valleys. (Hiking Involved)

 The Taktsang Monastery, sometimes referred to as the Tiger Nest Monastery, can be found near the town of Paro in Bhutan. The monastery is widely regarded as one of the holiest destinations for pilgrims in the Himalayan region.

Stroll around Paro Town and pay a visit to the Vegetable Market while taking advantage of your free time to buy for presents and mementos for friends and family.

 Come back to the hotel for dinner, then spend the night in Paro.

  • Time: The time in Bhutan is referred to as Bhutan Standard Time (BST), which is six hours ahead of GMT and fifty-five minutes ahead of Indian Standard Time (IST).

    Time of Pickup from Bagdogra International Airport: Between 2:30 and 3:00 p.m. on Day1.

    On day 7, we will send you off to Bagdogra Airport at a time that is between 12:30 and 1:00 PM, but no later than 12:30.

    Before making any flight reservations, we ask that you check in with your Tour Manager. There is the option of a One-Time Group Pickup & Drop off from the Bagdogra Airport (travellers will be required to patiently wait for other passengers to arrive).

  • Permission to Enter

    There is no requirement for Indian nationals to get a visa in order to travel between Bhutan and India. In order to visit some locations in Bhutan, Indian nationals are required to get an immigration permission. According to the legislation governing Nepalese immigration, Indian nationals who are travelling between Bhutan and Nepal are required to have a valid passport.

    To get an Entry Permit, you will need a valid form of identification such as a passport or voter card, in addition to two pictures that are the appropriate size for a passport. Because of this, you are required to provide either the original of your voter identification card or your passport. In the event of a kid, it is necessary to carry both a birth certificate and a school identification card at all times.

  • The Use of Banking Facilities and Currency

    The ngultrum (Nu) is the official currency of Bhutan; one ngultrum is equal to one hundred chetrum. The value of one Ngultrum is always equal to one Indian Rupee. The Indian monetary units with the denominations of 100 and 500 are generally accepted across the country.

Conditions governing payments, refunds, and cancellations

  • We will do everything in our power to adhere to the timetable of the trip that has been communicated with you, but you should be aware that there are certain things that are beyond our control that may alter the schedule.

  • In the event of a cancellation made less than 30 days before the departure date of the trip, a credit note for the amount equal to half of the trip cost will be issued.

  • Travel Bezzie reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary at any time.
