Itinerary

  • Arrival at Bagdogra Airport and group transfer to Phuentsholing (approx. 4.5–5 hours).
  • No sightseeing today; rest after your journey.
  • Immigration and permit formalities may be completed either today or the next day.
  • Overnight stay in  Jaigaon/Phuentsholing.
  • Scenic group drive to Paro (approx. 6–7 hours).
  • Leisure time on arrival in Paro to relax or explore at your own pace.
  • Overnight stay in Paro.
  • Dedicated day for the iconic Tiger’s Nest hike.
  • The moderate uphill trek takes 2-3 hours, passing beautiful forests and viewpoints.
  • Explore the monastery perched dramatically on the cliff.
  • For guests preferring no hike, leisure time at the resort or free to explore Paro town.
  • Overnight stay in Paro.

 

  • Drive to Punakha via scenic Dochula Pass with Himalayan views.
  • Visit Punakha Dzong, Punakha Suspension Bridge, and
    Chimi Lhakhang.
  • Overnight stay in Punakha.
  • Transfer to Thimphu (approx. 2.5–3 hours).
  • Visit Buddha Dordenma and explore local craft bazaars or markets.
  • Overnight stay in Thimphu.
  • Attend the Thimphu Tshechu Festival at Tashichho Dzong.

  • Witness sacred Cham dances and cultural performances. Later transfer to Phuentsholing.

Time
Bhutan Standard Time (BST) is 06 hours ahead of GMT and half an hour ahead of Indian Standard Time (IST).

Entry Permit
Indian Nationals travelling between Bhutan & India do not need a Visa. Indian Nationals require an immigration permit for travel to places in Bhutan. Indian Nationals travelling between Bhutan and Nepal require a valid passport as per Nepalese immigration regulation.

An identity document, be it either passport or voter card, and two passport size photographs is required to obtain an Entry Permit. Therefore, it is mandatory to carry an original Voter ID Card or Passport. In case of a child, it is required to carry a Birth Certificate along with a School ID card.

Currency and Banking Facilities

Bhutan’s unit of currency is the ngultrum (Nu), with 100 Chetrum =1Ngulturm. The Ngultrum is fixed to the value of Indian Rupee. Indian Currency of denomination 100 & 500 is widely acceptable in the country.

A Few Important Things to Keep in Mind

  • It is imperative that you remember to bring both your boarding pass and the original version of your Adhaar card.
  • Please be aware that only one carry-on bag up to seven kilogrammes and one checked bag up to fifteen kilogrammes are permitted free of charge on airlines. Fees will be assessed by the airline for both additional baggage and additional weight. It is required that you check in online.
  • Tipping the Driver, as well as the Tour Coordinator or Guide, is Required. On the final day of the tour, all participants will complete their payments collectively.
  • Please be sure to follow the particular instructions that we go through with you before the trip.
  • You are going to be responsible for taking care of your own stuff, including your clothing and electronics.
  • Mineral water, tea in the room, and other in-room amenities, if desired, will be subject to a fee, and you will be required to clear your personal room account prior to checking out.
  • Breakfast and dinner are included in the MAP, which stands for the meal plan. Each hotel has its own unique buffet spread, and we are not permitted to express any preferences we may have in this regard. We ask that you please abstain from making specific requests for changes in the menu.
  • Because they are not included in the price of the package, extras like bottled water, tea, dry cleaning, snacks, and tips must be paid for separately.
  • Carry your personal medications
  • There is no way to explore a location other than on foot; thus, you need be in shape and be ready to hike or trek to nearby towns and mountains in order to take in the breathtaking scenery. To participate in this Group Tour, you need have a normal level of physical fitness.

Conditions governing payments, refunds, and cancellations

  • We will do everything in our power to adhere to the timetable of the trip that has been communicated with you, but you should be aware that there are certain things that are beyond our control that may alter the schedule.

  • At the moment that you verify your participation in the excursion, you will be responsible for making the whole amount due.

  • In the event of a cancellation made less than 30 days before the departure date of the trip, a credit note for the amount equal to half of the trip cost will be issued.

  • In the event that you need to cancel your trip with less than 30 days’ notice, you will not be eligible for a refund.

  • If applicable, the cost of the airfare is not refundable.

  • In the event that a traveller cancels their participation in a trip less than 30 days before the departure date, they will not get a refund.

  • In the event of no show. There will be no allowance made for a refund.

  • There is no reimbursement for services that were not used. There is no refund on the booking fee. If the Trip amount is not paid in full by the due date, your reservation will be cancelled automatically.

The Terms and Conditions of Use

  • At this particular hotel, the check-in time is generally at 2:00 pm, and the check-out time is 11:00 am. The hotel management has the only authority to decide whether an early check-in or a late check-out is permitted.

  • In each room, there may be no more than three adults at a time. A mattress or rollaway bed will be made available for the third guest in the room.

  • Transportation will be supplied in accordance with the itinerary and will not be available for use at any other time.

  • In regions that are chilly or mountainous, air conditioning will not work at all.

  • Rates are subject to vary in the event of a change in travel plans, regardless of the cause for the change.

  • If flights were to be booked by the organiser, the prices that would be charged to participants would be determined by the actual rates that were available on the day that the booking was made. The participant will be responsible for the increase in flying costs that have been incurred.

  • Cancellation policy and terms and conditions of the airline apply to flights.

  • In the event that Travel Bezzie is the one to book your flights, and you need to cancel your trip for any reason, the firm will provide you a credit note that is good for the following year and may be used towards the purchase of any other tickets for any trip that you are currently taking with Travel Bezzie. This credit note will only be issued in the event that Travel Bezzie is the one to book your flights.

  • Travel Bezzie reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary at any time. This may be necessary for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to: events deemed to be of “Force Majeure,” strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels or flights, cancellation or rerouting of flights, closure of or entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. In spite of the fact that we will do all in our power to find acceptable alternatives to the situation, we cannot be held responsible for any claims for compensation or refunds that may result from this.

  • The cost of deviating from your tour or ticket’s itinerary, as well as the cost of extending its validity, is not included.

  • In the event that there is a dispute, it will be resolved by the court that has exclusive jurisdiction in Lucknow.

  • As a preventative measure, it has been decided that our vehicle will not be permitted to operate in the event that the roads are closed because of snow or ice. These directives come directly from the government and administration. Plying this route is restricted to snow jeeps and other vehicles equipped with chains. You have the option of hiring these cars via a direct payment arrangement, or we may make such arrangements for you at an extra fee.

  • The costs associated with any changes to the itinerary or length of stay that are necessitated by the cancellation of a flight because of inclement weather, illness, obstacles, or any other events that are beyond our control.

  • There is a possibility that the itinerary may be altered.

  • If an unavoidable condition, such as a curfew, lockdown, traffic congestion, or any other delay that is beyond our control causes a customer to miss their flight, we will not be held liable for the situation.
