Overview

This 10-day Scandinavian itinerary is a well-paced journey through Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, carefully designed to balance iconic cities with some of Northern Europe’s most dramatic natural scenery. The tour begins in Stockholm, allowing time to recover from travel before exploring the city’s historic heart, royal landmarks, and panoramic viewpoints. From here, the route moves into Sweden’s quieter countryside, setting a relaxed tone before crossing into Norway.

Norway forms the scenic backbone of the journey. From the historic former Viking capital of Trondheim, the itinerary follows the rugged Atlantic coastline, incorporating ferry crossings, traditional fishing towns, and architectural landmarks such as stave churches. Highlights include the world-famous Atlantic Road, the UNESCO-listed Geirangerfjord, towering waterfalls, and close encounters with glaciers at Briksdalsbreen. These days are intentionally unhurried, with free time for short walks, photography, or optional fjord cruises.

The journey continues through fjord regions and mountain plateaus to Bergen, known for its maritime heritage, before heading east across Norway’s highlands to Oslo for a concise city tour. An overnight ferry then adds a unique travel experience en route to Copenhagen, where the tour concludes with a guided city visit and leisure time. Overall, this itinerary is ideal for travelers seeking a comprehensive yet comfortable introduction to Scandinavia, combining culture, landscapes, and smooth logistics.
