Overnight stay in Leh Hotel.

After an early breakfast we start our day by visiting Leh Palace sitting atop the Leh town to experience the grandeur of the kings of Ladakh. The architecture of the palace is something you can keep looking at for hours and the view from the top makes a picture perfect frame.

After visiting the above places, we drive back to Shanti Stupa by evening to experience the sun set over Leh town and Zanskar ranges; the view from atop the Shanti stupa is just breath-taking. Stroll in Leh Market in Evening and enjoy cafe hopping or simply shopping. Overnight at hotel in Leh.

After breakfast, we journey to Nubra Valley, passing through Khardung La, the highest motorable road globally at 5,602 meters (18,390 ft), about 39 km from Leh. From the pass, vistas extend south over the Indus valley and north to the Saser massif. Nubra, also called Ldumra or the valley of flowers, lies between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges, with an average altitude of 10,000 ft. Upon arrival, we check into our camp in Hunder for relaxation. The juxtaposition of sand dunes and rocky Ladakhi landscape is a unique sight. Dinner and overnight stay at the Nubra Valley camp.

After breakfast, drive to Turtuk border village. Set amidst the Himalayan and Karakoram mountains, Turtuk overlooks the Shyok river and is inhabited by the Balti tribe known for its unique culture and delicious food. Previously under Pakistani control until 1971, India reclaimed it after a decisive battle. You may catch a glimpse of the Pakistani side from the settlement's highest point. Turtuk is said to be sweeter than apricots, and you'll return to Nubra later. Spend the night at Nubra camp in tents.

After an early breakfast, head to Pangong Lake via Shayok Valley, boasting stunning landscapes as you drive alongside the Shayok River. Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m), straddles the India-China border. Popularized by the film "3 Idiots", it drew Indian tourists overnight. On sunny days, the lake's turquoise hue against the earthy mountains creates surreal reflections, making for stunning photos. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery. Evening is free for leisure. Special Instructions

Ladakh is very safe, tourist friendly and cheering place, but still you need to take care of some preparations which can make your tour even better and memorable:

  • Only post-paid mobile phones work in Leh-Ladakh, preferably BSNL, Airtel, Vodafone. As phones may not work at many places, keep your family members informed well in advance not to worry if they fail to contact you.

  • You would hardly find any cellular network in most of the areas in Leh. BSNL works better here, however you would find Airtel signals also at some places.

  • Keep ready a pair of woollen (not heavy) with you as temperature may dip as low as 5 degrees any time even during summer months.

  • Carry good Sun Screen lotion, sun glasses (goggles), cap with you to avoid sunburn as sun rays are direct and can burn your skin.

  • Don’t forget to carry photo id with you. Passport is the best option. Driving License and Voter Cards are also valid.

  • While travelling on mountains, keep drinking water and eating healthy food and fruits to avoid vomiting due to high altitude sickness and dizziness due to curby roads.

  • Carry headache, stomachache, anti vomiting tablets with you. Keep drinking water and fruits to avoid minor high-altitude sickness.

  • Take high altitude tablets (diamox or acetazolamide tablets) a day before your tour (preferably before falling asleep) and may also take before boarding plane to Leh. Having rest and drinking enough water for some hours after reaching Leh is advised.
  • Leh has only few ATM machines where you can withdraw cash. But mostly these machines witness long queues of customers and run out of cash most of the time. So carrying enough cash is advisable.

  • Please respect the Buddhist and Muslim culture of Ladakh. Providing world class services in the secluded place, which is similar to an oasis, is very difficult and challenging. Still we try our best to bring cheer on your faces. If you need to do compromise at any point (though we never hope for such moment), please do cooperate us.
