Itinerary
- Arrive in Lisbon, Portugal.
- Your airport transfer will take you to the hotel. The remainder of the day is free to relax and explore at your own pace.
- Tour information will be provided in the afternoon at the hotel.
- Overnight: Lisbon
- After breakfast, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Lisbon, the Portuguese capital known for its seven hills, colourful tiled buildings, charming lanes and Atlantic atmosphere.
- Visit the historic Belém district, associated with Portugal’s great maritime explorers.
- The afternoon is free to explore Lisbon independently. You may wander through Bairro Alto, visit viewpoints and enjoy the city’s cafés and streets.
- Optional: Excursion to Sintra, Cascais and Estoril.
- In the evening, transfer back from Restauradores Square, a lively area filled with cafés and bars.
- Overnight: Lisbon

- Depart Lisbon and travel south towards the Algarve.
- Visit Lagos, a historic coastal city with ancient walls, a charming old town and a fascinating maritime past.
- Continue towards Cape St. Vincent, the dramatic westernmost point of mainland Europe, known for its windswept cliffs and spectacular Atlantic views.
- There will also be an opportunity to photograph the historic Sagres Fortress.
- Continue to Albufeira, where you can relax by the coast or explore its lively historic centre.

- Travel through the Algarve to Faro, the region’s peaceful capital, for a leisurely walk.
- Continue into the Alentejo region and visit Mértola, a historic walled town overlooking the Guadiana River. Explore its atmospheric streets, whitewashed houses and impressive castle.
- Continue to Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage city.
- Visit the extraordinary Chapel of Bones, decorated with the remains of thousands of people.
- Later, explore Évora’s historic centre, including its medieval architecture, religious buildings and ancient Roman heritage.

- Visit Marvão, a beautifully preserved hilltop walled town offering spectacular panoramic views.

- Continue to Aljustrel, birthplace of the three shepherd children associated with the apparitions of Our Lady of Fátima. Visit the area around Lucia’s home.
- Arrive in Fátima and enjoy free time at the Sanctuary. Those interested may attend the evening candlelight procession.

- Travel north towards Porto, Portugal’s second-largest city.
- Arrive around late morning and enjoy a 50-minute cruise on the Douro River aboard a traditional Portuguese Rabelo boat.
- After the cruise, enjoy free time in Ribeira, Porto’s atmospheric riverside district, with its colourful historic buildings, cafés and narrow streets.
- Continue to your hotel.

- Travel towards Braga and visit the spectacular Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte.
- Ride the historic water-operated funicular to the sanctuary and enjoy panoramic views. You may descend via its beautiful monumental staircase.

- Enjoy a glass-bottom boat excursion along the Ría de Arousa, learning about local mussel and oyster farming.
